Electric curtains
Electrically sliding curtains (or more simply electric curtains) are used in both domestic and commercial premises.
Electric or electrically operated curtains are used in commercial premises with large window openings such as museums, conference centres, ceremonial halls and especially in hotels. They are also the ideal mechanism for theatre curtains.
In domestic premises they are mainly used if you have high ceilings, rooms with curtains made of heavy dense fabrics, large windows in living rooms or window openings which are at a height or difficult to access.

SOMFY Electric Rails
Our company cooperates with the French company Somfy(R), one of the leading manufacturers of automated shading solutions.
Somfy(R) electric railways introduce innovative technologies:
- They are silent
- They have a 5-year warranty
- They support opening or closing functions either via switch (wired operation) or via remote control or smartphone (wireless operation).
In particular, wireless control via smart devices is possible using the Somfy Tahoma app, with which, in addition to indoor shading systems, you can control any system that works with Somfy mechanisms (e.g. outdoor shading systems, outdoor parking blinds, etc.).
Some types of electric rails support Touch Motion technology, whereby a small push on the curtain is all that is required to activate the mechanism and start the automatic opening or closing.
With the remote control or from your smartphone, the curtains open and close discreetly, without causing any annoying noise.
Somfy(R) electric rails can be used with any type of curtain (classic or wavy).
There are two types of electric rail: the Somfy Movelite and the Somfy Glydea Ultra.
Electric rail Somfy Movelite
It is intended for residential installations.
The rail is available with wired operation (Movelite 35 WT) and wireless operation (Movelite 35 RTS).
Movelite electric rails are suitable for weights up to 35 kg.
The maximum width is 6 m.
Speed: 15 cm/sec.
Noise: 41 dB(A).
They can also be operated manually in the event of a power failure.
They cannot be built at an angle.

Electric rail Somfy Glydea Ultra
It is mainly intended for installations in commercial premises such as hotels, theatres, etc.
There are two types of electric railways Somfy Glydea Ultra. The Glydea Ultra 35 suitable for weights up to 35 kg and with a maximum width of 6 m and the Glydea Ultra 60 for weights up to 60 kg and with a maximum width of 12 m.
Speed: 20 cm/sec.
Noise: 44 dB(A).
The Glydea mechanisms additionally allow speed adjustment, give a smoother movement at start and finish, and have the option of silent operation.
They also have a manual mechanism if there is a power failure.
They can be manufactured at an angle, a feature very useful in the case of corner windows, when complete shading is the goal.
